seeing as its a clone box you need to find out if you box has a swappable tuner mate

I suggest you open it up and check before you spend that 30 quid.

It will work but only with SAT and not with Cable.

it looks like it's swappable.. do you have any pic of the internal of a dreambox with swappable tuner and non-swappable so i can see if it is or not? thanks

I havent seen a non swappable tuner on 800 box but just try and pull it off, you will of course need to take some of the back off first its a nice learning curve for when you do invest in tuner ( be patient with it all)

Nah mate I dont have a Dm box... so I cant really show any pics.

I own a openmedia 500CS and that has twin tueners.

usually if they swappable you would be able to see it as they basically slot in like in a PC you have a PCI slot where you put in your GFX card... well this is practically the same

however as stated above u would need to open the box and find out mate.

clone tuners are known to have issues. spend an extra 40 bucks and get an original

I bought that tuner and it fits ok. the only problem is that now the rear panel doesn't fit anymore. Where can i buy a rear panel for dm800 which fits a dvb-s2 tuner? haven't found any around....
