Youtube plugin for dm500

Hi,

I want to try and get the youtube plugin working on my dm500.

i have followed the following instructions -

YoutubeplayerE1a - a plugin to watch Youtube videos with dm500, dm5620 and dm7000

however i do not have the folder var/libs so i could not copy the file libcurl.so.2.

I can search youtube on the remote but when i select a file it just restarts the cam ?

I am using vlc 0.8.1 (this version so i can stream from pc to dreambox)

And digital kaos image - release v.1.1. 20.08.2008

Can anyone help ?
