HI i need help i have installed v1 i want to know what i have to do to watch movie ? ps i have a dm500 box that has all channels is there a way of uploading that flash to dream up and then flashing it to the new box ?when i tried it half way through it said error thanks

When you say you want to watch a movie, do you mean a movie from your PC or simply watch the movie channels?
If you have a fully working dm500, use dreamup to take a backup then flash the backup to your other box. -

Back up an image ?
if your trying to flash an image and its crashing half way through, you must have the wrong image or a bad image file. Try a different image.
if your wanting to back up an image, try using flash wizard pro 6.3 or above.Last edited by aftermath; 29 August, 2008, 11:25.

If you want to backup the image from the box.
Press yellow go to user features then backup image.
Use whatever program it is you use to ftp the box and the image will be in the /temp folder.
transfer this to wherever you like on your pc.
If you backup the image with flash wizard pro you can only use that program again to flash the image back to the box.sigpic

HI i have a dm500c that came with a fully working flash a then brought a new box with no flash so installed v1 OK updated to v1.1 over INTERNET OK but still i cannot get all channels so then i tried to back up the first box's flash but errorComment

when you say you cant get all channels, you mean you only getting free to air ones ? or missing a few pay channels.
if your just missing a few, could be your signal strength, which can be solved if its too high or too low.
if your missing all the pay ones, then you need roms,keys.cam to be able to open them.Comment
