    Pause live TV

    Hi all,

    any of the images let you pause and continue live TV? i.e. transparently start recording, when you press pause, then plays from the recording when you press play, but at the same time continues to record in the background?

    I'm using a Neutrino image currently, but not precious about it, and happy to swap to another image if has better support for this.. (and multi-EPG support, sky style.)

      I "pause" tv with the DM600, if you have the DM500 forget about it.

      Any image for the DM600 will work, just hit the record button then press re-wind, then pause. Its carries on recording and you can play it anytime, even fast forward it to whats currently on.

          The new PLI Jade image on the DM600 supports proper timeshift, just like on a sky box. You can rewind live tv. I have a 30 mins timeshift on mine, so I can rewind the last 30 mins of tv

          If you have a DM500, you can record to a NAS or to a shared drive on a pc. See this guide by Devlfish http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ing-pc-nas-34/

          The DM500 doesn't support timeshift though
