          Well you can & it's been done here in Ireland on cable & mmds using the Dreambox.

          But it's not cheap going price 500euro inc sub for a year + dm500c/t.

          I am not involved in this just letting peeps know whats happening.
          i agree it can be done on mmds, i seen it working 2 hrs ago,,and the 500 looks dear to me dan, and i be dodgy about paying 12 months up front guys, month by month 2 start i say...

            Hey pudzy I'm not selling them just letting peeps now it can be done.

            I myself wouldn't pay any server & wouldn't advice anyone too, but there's nothing stopping family/Friends setting one up.

            Also there are peeps on here that will tell you not to, but have there own servers.

              in the next few months there will be plenty for exchange so i wouldnt bother would be my advice plus these cards take 100+ clients so ther hardly going to be thin on the ground are they?

                howdy bud
                just to back up the op....yes it is being done before someone says it isint
                but for some peeps the first problem will be getting the card to read in the dreambox even before talks of sharing begins
                it is not an easy task there is quite a bit of work involved, peeps with new boxes are possibly non runners
                and we know that another white card can handle that many clients but has our rom142 had that kind of testing yet ?
                ive a gut feeling there may be problems ahead with the newer n3 cards on cs

                  howya red
                  not to go into it to deep and break any forum rules as you know about 7mnths ago this nearly fried my brain and wallet.
                  its mostly hype pairing is either
                  1 dt06
                  2 dt08
                  3 secondary key
                  number 3 being the main obstacle but as you are probably aware this can be overcome in a similar way to polsat was done.
                  as for the card i hear it performes extremely well i think 100 is a very conserative estimate from all accounts.

                    I dont think a Nagra 3 can handle anywhere near that many clients off a single card.
                    They are similar to NDS which has a limit of ~20 clients per card when overclocked.

                        yep im familiar with the pairing methods and how the DT08 has been done but i cant see the average
                        person wanting to go ahead with it so maybe they will be going down the payserver route
                        and then be knocked off the server after 2 months to make room for new clients
                        the new sagem itd 70 there installin is secondary key method so that is a problem as well
                        while the older icd/itd 66 is DT08......not for the newbee im afraid

                        @fano the n*s card will do a lot more than 20 m8

                              yeh m8 i checked a couple of other images and its fairly straight forward but for some reason well hidden on gem i might check a couple of oldies just for curiosity. i can go down the trial and error route but vary time consuming. harbouring a combine for starters i hear.
                              i think your neck of the woods got mostly sagems if what i hear is right us paddys were slightly more fortunate i think but a little birdy told me s** hav an oddball out now!

                                comment=OpenDreambox
                                target=9
