    WSS AND AC3 ON DREAMBOX 500C ????

    in the settings, what is "disable wss on 4.3", and what is AC3 default output" ???

    what do both of these things mean and do exactly ?

      AC3 default output is used for a digital audio passthough for the optical output,
      i.e to connect to an AV amp, i use it but there are very very few if any programs/movies the broadcast DTS or 5.1 on cable...

          ahh, sorry mate thats to disable zooming in on a 16.9 Screen if something is being transmited on 4.3...

            so if its a 16:9 telly then should this option be enabled or disabled ? (a tick in the box or no tick in the box)

              it really depends on the screen as allot automatically changes the aspect ratio to suit....
              on mine they are both ticked
