trying to update 500c

hi im using the kaos image 500c and im trying to update via
Menu > Setup > Expert Setup > Software Update > Internet Update ive conected box to my home hub but i get and error saying can not resolve host name is there anything else i need to do in my settings on box or router ?

what you trying to update m8 ?your image?if its dk 1.1 then thats the latest image you have

im not sure what image i have it was the first kaos image but not sure if i updated

plus, you'd need to enable the network, set it to DHCP.

log onto the home hub, see if it's giving it an IP

ok ill try i didnt enable dhcp before ill try now

i enabled DHCP and it still says cant resolve hostname

do you ave an ip say for example 192.168.xx.xx ? on your box?when you connect to your hub it should have assigned an ip

yes it has a ip address

as ft says though if you have the latest image there is no update available. if its 1.0 then 1.1 is the upgrade. if you are connecting to the server ok and nothing happening you may well be on 1.1.

i forgot to restart box after i enabled dhcp ,after i restarted it updated fine to the latest,

I got an IP and can connect to with DCC but still cannot connect to internet update....
What's up with the server...
