        nope still not working, shall i try and take the hard drive out and flash it to see if that works???

          just a thought can you use a yellow video lead from the back of unit to the tv
          and change your video setting on the dream box if you can see a picture
          or different scart lead
          or any chance of sending it back if under garantee

            bought it from ebay and he wont answer my emails,

            I have tried that with the yellow lead but it dont work either.

            I think its completly gone!!!

              am having a similar problem. thafter loading a new image the 7025 will not boot, and the led panel remains black. btw this is brand new 7025.

                have you got a proper null modem cable and dream up if not it wont flash also make sure you have an nfi image use this gemini one it works for me i have a 7025

                  Hi.

                  I have same problem with DM800hd.

                  I cannot flash anything , it just seems to freeze when it gets to the stage of "box flashing from it's memory"

                  I am going to try the erase.zip file.

                  Strange though, i think it has something to do with the size of the file, as i was able to load on bootloader70 but that is only a small file.

                    dont discount a duff psu. Mine had weird problems - turning my tv back to cable when on xbox, blank screens evry 10 secs when recording diff channel, trouble booting - replaced the psu and alls fine.

                    try disconnecting the hard drive (ie lower power required) and see if probs still exist...
