hi all, dm500c, everythings great, but occasionally, in the channel list, certain channels keep on disappearing and are replace with "removed service". For instance last night, flicking through documentary bouquet, Crime and Investigation, History channel bothe had been replaced by "removed service" i could still turn over to these channels and watch them,and 2 minutes later they were back as normal except now they had the new found flag by them. As i say, its not a major problem and doesnt stop me from watching any channel, but those "new found channel"flags kind of annoy me; well i say they annoy me, really the wife constantly asking "why does it keep on doing that?" and "the old box didnt do that" is what really grates on my nerves. so for my mental sanity is there any way of stopping it?

You need to disable background scanning on your box. You will find it in automatic transponder scan. What you should really do is actually add the new found flag services to your bouquets and delete the removed services . The reason for the reason for the removed services is that the transonder details have changed and the removed service comes up because the dreambox is not recognising the services preoperly.
