reading an ntl card in dreambox

Guys, is it possible to read a valid cable NTL card in a dreambox. Would like to use the dreambox instead of the ntl box as i think the dreambox is better. If so can you tell me how to do it. thanks

Lots of discussion. But no mention of EMU or how to match box and card with a dreambox. Not interested in card servers. These guys are thugs and am unwilling to share my credit card details with such people. Just want to know if there is an EMU such as CCCAM that I can put a boxkey into to watch the channels I have already subscribed to on my dreambox

cactikid, are we struggling on legalities. let me put this to you. there are currently many multiroom straming solution that will mean no need for the 10 pound multiroom charge. Do this and it aint against the law. Trying to read a card in a different box does go against the card providers regulations. So you get disconnected. But it is not illegal. Important difference. All i am asking is if it is possible to read a NTL card that is fully paid for in a different box. Very not illegal, yet it is breaking local tv provider rules.Thats all

install rqcs & cccam on your dreambox edit the rqcs.cfg file with boxkey & secondary_key/dt06/dt08/cam_n

It wont actually read the card,some sort of unlooper will be required to unlock the card to be read.

Thanks guys, did a search on the unlooper in this forum and am beginning to understand that while my original question may be simple, the answer is not quite so simple. Appreciate your help

unfortunately n3 cards cant be unlocked with an unlooper m8
as dan has said rqcs & cccam will read the new upc irl n3 cards in a linux box but quite a bit of work involved
