DM600 Just ordered my DM600C

I've just ordered my DM600C and should receive it in the next few days, I got a funny feeling I'm gonna be fiddling with it quite a lot over the next few weeks (which hopefully Im gonna love).

I was wondered if anyone can recommend any stuff that I should get prior to getting it to ease the inital setup?

I don't know!, this is the biggest issue to hit the cable scene for a long time. You will have a nice receiver but no channels to watch I am afraid. Current estimates have been as close to a couple of months.

OK, so sat is the only way to go then?, this may seem like another stupid question but will satellite installation companies just install a dish standalone?

the tuners on the 600C are interchangable, therefore just order a DVB-S tuner around 30 quid

No Fixes on the horizon mate , nag3 has been going strong in Europe for some years , with no hacks .
Satellite isn`t exactly "plug and play" only way to go with sat is card sharing , although not allowed to discuss on this forum , google "card sharing" for info ,
As for when Nag3 strikes , some say all the UK by Easter , some areas in Yorkshire have already gone, it`s being rolled-out area by area , so hopefully your in an area that will be last hit , although i personally think the most you could hope for will be 4-6 weeks , sorry it aint better news , could have been much much worse for you , at least you didnt but a dedicated cable reciever , swap you tuner and youv`e still got a usable stb
