Major problems with the dm500c

I don't know where to start looking for help with this box as never have one before. Im used to the eurovox.
I have no channels at all and dont know if i should try and flash the box or not.
Please please can someone point me in the right direction,

Well I have managed to flash the box. Still have a few problems tho. I am getting all the channels but cant view any as its just a blank screen. Ive checked the var but no keys or keylist in there so i cant change the keys. ive left it on sky sports to see if it would update but still no luck....

Your gonna have to get the key pack and ftp the files into var/keys and var/ssce,then your good to go.

Yet again i have tried this but i dont seem to have an emu on the box could this be my problem so sorry for being a pain?

if you have ftp'ed the proper stuff in to var/keys and var/scce, press and hold the info button on your remote, new screen should appear with 'evocamd' highlighted, then press ok to restart the cam. Go to sly sp 1 then to sly sp 2 and wait for it to update.
You wont have any emu on box if you have not installed these files from the rapid share link that freck has posted!

Well ive had a break thru as i have flashed the box and started the evo but only getting fta channels. I have noticed tht there are no keys in the keylist.txt

You need to obtain the keys from the net then ftp them over into var/keys folder you will also need the rom files putting into the scce folder.If you have neither of these files you can pm me with your email addy and i'll send you the files needed.
