DM500 Channels all gone !

Had a text from my niece this morning telling me her channels had gone completely.
Upon checking mine i found the same,as did my other niece and a friend across town.
We have all rescanned,i did it three times,but with no results apart from the "service could not be found" message on a black screen.
Does this mean that vermin media have switched to N3 in the North Lincolnshire area ?
It seems strange how all these boxes were affected during the night,but then if they have switched why has my mate not got a new card for his vermin media box,to which he still subscribes ?
I have tried all the usual "remedies" - rescan,reboot,restart evo etc etc noithing is working.
Anyone out there have any info or know of a "fix" ?

are you still getting the free channels bbc,itv etc

when youve done your rescan you may have 20 bbc 1 or 4 sly films what you have to do is go to each one to see if it works you may find this is the problem when it happened in our area i had 24 bbc 1 but only 1 worked so i ahd to redo bouquets all over again

Nope nothing,nada,zero,zilch.
All black screens with "Service could not be found".

Full services list shows channel name but nothing at the side ,i.e programme name.
I do have loads of BC1's etc etc but they all show the same black screen.
Really odd !

Hi,

I had exactly the same last week. I had to flash erase the box using dreamup, loaded up the original DK image, transferred the keys et. and did a bruteforce rescan. Then the channels came back.

It has just happened again 'service not found' on any channel I will try the same again tonight!!

Lost sly sports 1&3 last week, then lost all channels yesterday.

Rescanned a couple of times still no channels not even FTA. No program info against the channels.

Do you think I would benefit from a more up to date image??

Channels back on now but all as multiple entries, so bouquets all screwed up.

Anyone have any advice on how to quickly organise them into the bouquets??

same thing here (n.lincs) all channels disappered ..rescanned with bruteforce...now got multiple channels for everything and you have to find the one that works...bouquets all useless ...any clues you brainboxes out there ??

does'nt appear to be anything in there for n.lincs...THE main thing is what is causing the loss of channels in the first place ??

i have a dm500 and dbox... both my boxes lost there channels this morning after doing a rescan on both the DBOX is backup and the Dm5r00 some of the channels are missing, i get the error channel can not be found...

i have taken this box to where the DBOX is connected but its the same.. those same channels dont appear....


any ideas..?

I had previously only scanned using bruteforce but got most of missing channels back using 6887...

A couple of days ago I lost my BBC channels 1, 2, 3 & 4, but everything else is there.

I?ve done the usual rescan using Bruteforce as well as the Sym6952 I usually use and reboot etc. But all I get for the missing BBC channels is the Switch box with ?channel could not be found? message. I get all the EPG against the missing BBC channels, but they just don?t work! The BBC BTVServices all seem to be working okay as well as BBC parliament. All the other FTA and S*y etc channels are working fine.

I look after boxes for a couple of friends and they have the same problem!

Any ideas?

Also, is there anyone in the same area getting the BBC channels, if so what image are you using?

im using the same image as you, the channels im missing are the Asian channels and some of the kiddies channels... oh and sky sports news....

Most strange! I'm getting B4U Music & Movies, Zee Cinema & TV and S*y News as well as all the other usual channels. Its just the BBC 1, 2, 3 & 4 I've lost.
