Newb Question Best DBox = Dreambox ?

Hi All,
I am new to Dbox and dream boxes but I am a PC techie, I recently came accross a Nokia DBOX2 on ebay from germany and purchased it. Using the very helpful posts on this site I got it working and am very pleased. But as a tech addict I want to know what is the best model to get would it be a Dreambox 800 HD PVR, I found a supplier here Buy DreamBox 800,Dreambox 800HD,Dreambox 800C,DM800C,DreamBox DM 800C,Dream Box Is this a good price and is the supplier reliable ?

As I see by looking on this great forum both boxes work well but after a while I am guessing I will need to update the box as the provider VM changes chn and frq is this correct?

Be warned that Virgin are changing their encryption system at the moment to Nagra 3 (N3). N3 has not been hacked yet and so once it is in place in your area, any Dreambox or DBOX2 will only be able to receive Free To Air channels. Leeds and Harrogate have already switched over and all other areas of the UK are expected to be switched within the next few months.

If you still really want a Dreambox for cable TV reception, I would suggest that you delay purchase because there will be plenty of cheap second hand boxes around in a few months time.

Yes, virgin is going n3 encryption so you best get a box which you can change tuners in.
That link to you gave is to the dm800c model which is excatly what I got. When n3 hits your area eventually, you havent wasted your money on the box as you can then just plug in a sat tuner into it.

I get all my boxs that link dvbseller.com, so know them to be reliable. Just be sure to use EMS as your courier to avoid import taxs. They also give you years warranty so your covered no matter happens.
