Ok guys I noticed that sometimes you guys don't have the knowledge to add your own missing channels that are not picked up in a scan.
I have made a small database app which stores all the frequency details and gives a guide on how to add channels manually using the remote - thanks to the info here provided by devilfish.
Just now in the database is all the ex telewest frequencies - but a small database update will add the rest for the uk - which you can easily enter into the app yourself with info provided by users from this site.
The app useage:
Double click on the top window for help
Single click on an entry in the top window for stored frequency info
Click on the add button to add a new entry
Click on the edit button to edit an entry.
Click on the delete button to delete an entry
App can be downloaded here:

Users can upload there own databases to share with forum members by editing and posting that small file which at the moment is only 3KB but will get slighty bigger the more entires are added.
