DM600 Want to copy over the bouquet and services from one dm600 to another

Hi all, I have my mates dreambox. He has gone away, and I want to take his bouquet and services of his box if possible. How would I go about doing this.

Would it be a good idea to copy all of his folders of his dreambox via FTP and transfering to mines. Would that bugger my box up or would it run identical to his.

Another question aswell, He is receiving UK GOLD and Paramount which my transponders has not picked up. How would I go about getting these channels.
