EASY TO SWAP TUNER??

Hi dudes

I'd like to know how difficult or even if its possible to swap the tuner in a DM500c to a sat tuner for obvious reasons??N3
I know some of the more recent ones had push in tuners i.e. no soldering or summat along those lines? but what about the older ones??

Its not possible mate to swap dm500 tuner. They are built in, soldered to the motherboard

can they not be de-soldered and swapped out a pain in the arse job true but better than having an expensive paper weight for a box?

it depends on the tuner type, linuxsat sells a 28 pin dm500 sat tuner
take the cover off and count the pins

Thanks again red devil had a look at that it says mainboard only but looks like the tuner comes with it so I'm asuming the only thing missing is the case, PSU, infra red receiver etc.
