Need help configuring DM7025,is it the same as the DM500???

HELP with dm7025!!!!

Have dm7025 installed and am at stage where i have all channel info and channel lists/epg but have no picture except on rte1,all euronews channels,sport xchange all other channels are black screen.Have dreambox configured on network through router and have ftp'd keylist.txt to the var folder via dreambox control centre(Enigma 2 is the flash image)(dont know if this is the latest keylist or what the story is?) rebooted etc.but still nothing.Have read on forums about blue button and restarting emu but haven't seen any menus for emu and when i press blue button it brings me to Picture in Picture????What am i doing wrong??Any Ideas???Also when i switch box off and on again the keys folder dissapears from dm7025

can you watch fta channels like bbc1 , itv etc
what image have you on your dreambox
are you trying to get cable or sat channels

no bbc/itv fta channels.
Image is enigma2 as far as i can make out but i'm no expert.
trying to get cable channels in Dublin.
On the couple of channels that are there(RTE1/All Euronews) the picture is really unstable(jumping all the time)
Need info on evocamd,downloaded it from the forum but need concise instructions as to what folder it goes in etc.

what image/ firmware do you have on your dm7025
is it a new box with original image or have you put a new one on so evocamd and some key files added
if yes
have you done a manual scan for the channels for your area
if not
service searching> manual scan

type of scan >single transponder

frequency>363( i think is for ntl ireland)

inversion>auto

symbol rate>6887 or 06887

modulation>64 qam

fec>auto

network scan>yes

DM7025 HELP!!!

Hey Westkill,
Yes it is a new box, haven't changed anything except to set it up.Yes have done a manual scan with all the settings you listed(except i used 355 as frequency not 363 will try 363 later).All channel info and radio stations are there just no picture.The only files i've ftp'ed to the box are a keys folder(containing keylist.txt) which went into the var folder but keeps dissapearing every time i power down and back up again.Whats the function of evocamd?, i'm presuming it's not factory installed?

what your going to have to do is put a new image /firmware on your box m8
from here

the image should be at the bottom of the page called fith campaign to download to your pc

then to flash this image file to your dreambox

try the browser way first as you should be allready connected via your network

once thats on your box do a manual scan for the channels

when all thats done the evocamd can be downloaded through your dreambox over the internet or manual install via ftp

DM7025 NO JOY!

Tried all that and changed the permissions etc,still no joy though.when igo into EMU selector there are 2 choices
1 common interface
2 DCcamd
there is no evocamd even though i ftp'd it to to usr/bin.
also dreambox control centre won't let me ftp the keys folder to var but there is a keys folder in usr.
does this make any sense ???
I'm out of ideas mate.

would digitalworldz 1.6.5 doit?

if your box is conected to a router you can download
menu>lt menu>addon manager>download addons>softcams

or you can get 2.12 or 2.13 evocamd from the lt website, ftp it to the temp directory ,then goto addons again and do a manual install

Hi , I have a 7025 which is setup just fine.
A couple of points :-

If you hold the blue button down too long you will get picture in picture, assuming you are using the Gemini image as I am.
Just do a short press to open the 'blue pabel'.

The keys do go into 'usr/keys'. the roms go into 'usr/scee'.
I use evocam 2.17 with its associated config. Best way to get it is to install from the gemini web site using the dreambox addons in the blue panel.

thanks westkill ,downloaded evocamd christm fix(couldn't find 2.12/2.13) as you suggested via the addons menu and the router, selected it in the emu selector/restarted and still the same.Any more ideas?

micron thanks for the info.what are roms,where do i get them because usr/scce folder is empty????

have a look in the scce folder you downloaded from rapidshare and check the scce folder check the r*ms are in there and put them into the /scce folder
then reboot the box
