What images work to rescan to get all the channels?

My dad's mate has DW 2.0 he can get FTA channels basic freeview, but can't get others. No message like Lost Channel or whatever. He gave it to me, should i just reflash it with DK1.1? and rescan with all the channels?

Before you re-flash box, try a brute force scan for your area.
If you can't clear channels, then flash with DK1.1 image.
After flashing you will have to FTP magic files to box.

I found a bruteforce scan sadly lacking in my area.I rescanned using CableUK SYM6887 - got the lot and really quick to scan too.

I agree Bruteforce is quite lacky here too. I just reflash the box with the new image and away it went.
