You can manual or auto scan to get the new channel.

to add new channels, can i press menu, choose 'search', then move down to 'manual search' with PW (7***) and press ok??

Yes... But for manual search, you need the freq. & the newly added channel will be add to the last page.

If you perform an auto search, you do not need the freq. but all your channel will be in a mess. Need to re-arrange them to your liking or previous old 2-digit listing.

i've finally got the box gg, but i keep getting a blank screen while watching. i need to off/on (more than 10X already) the box to continue watching. Any solution???

Hi SGDVB, noted freq is needed for manual search, think i'll just go for auto-scan.
When i do a AS :
1) do i get additional channels
2) do i still get listing as 2-digit. I can survive with 2-digit listing ....

You too short of many channel. The most easiest way get your friend working dm900 STB and do flashing box to box. You will get all channel back.You only need null modem cable.

You mean all channel you can watch? But your box will off by itself after few minutes.
What aucard are you using? If after few minutes stb off by itself,i suspect your STB want to retire..

We are now using DM500C and DM800HD.It cardless and we do our own image coz this STB is international. As your dm900c box and image produce by some China factory,you cant do much with the box.

How long have you been using this box? A year or two I guess?

Watch halfway become blue screen? Intermitten? Come back on after awhile?

As said before, this set are not as durable. All cheap parts inside if you open up the casing.

I cant seem to get the codes to watch any channels on one box, but the other is ok... help ?
