Dreambox via router to pc?

I have my Dreambox connected to my tv and also my wireless router via ethernet cable. I also have my desktop pc connected wirelessly to the router.

Is there a way that I can watch tv on my desktop pc?

this thread might be of a help to you except miss out the over the net streaming bit, i havent actually downloaded the file as i'm off to bed now but if your still stuck tommorrow i'll do you a guide shaz

Open a web browser and type the IP address of your box in the address bar....you will be promted for user(root) and password(dreambox)......once in you will see the we interface to your box....you can do all most anything from here including streaming from the box using web-x-tv.

cheers guys. I just downloaded vlc and got it working via web-x-tv
