Using DM600 as a Media Centre???

With Nagra 3 just around the corner, I'm looking at other uses for the DM600PVR that's in the bedroom.

I have a HTPC in the lounge and was wondering if I can use the DM600 to play the DVD rips (In .iso format) that are stored on there?

I have managed to mount a share from the HTPC, but whe I browse to the folders the DM doesn't appear to be able to see the .iso files.

Is this possible in any way? Do I need to change the image for example?
I'm using Jade PLI image at the moment.

I would have thought this versitile box of tricks was more than powerful enough to do what I'm trying to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW I know I can stream using movie player and running vlc in the background on the HTPC. But was hoping that I could just mount and play the image.

order a sat tuner for it and get a dish and move over to the satellite scene

Gonna go legit and order Sky whe it finally goes tits up, but was hoping to still use to dreambox as above, if someone can tell me if its possible.
Hopefullyit will be, even if it means putting some oter image on.
