i am having serious problems by box to my pc. i cannot open noobs guide as it is encrypted. the other guides have missing instructions and do not know how to transfer files from pc to dreambox to get free channells.
can anyone assist

when you try to open the newbie guide, you should be offered the chance to download a viewer for word..... use it and follow the guide, I'm back up and running tonight thanks to it.

Download a program called winzip if you want to decrypt the noob guide or alternatively read all the stickies in red at the top of the cable section.

I AM NOW ABLE TO OPEN THE GUIDE BUT STILL CANNOT READ. IT IS IN UNREADABLE JARGON SIGNS ETC

i have got microsoft word viewer 2003 but it is not readale just signs and numbers and stuff

If u have MS 2003 and u want to read doc which is save on MS 2007, u have to download free MicroSoft office compatibily software. Try this and let us know what next.

Noobs Guide Help

I cannot open the 500c Guide. Cannot install compatibility software either.
Any one send it or save it in 2003 format

or just get office 2007. free in the usual places

Get a program called " docX Converter ".Open the Program and drag the guide to the program and voila it converts the file so it can be read.
