My pal complained to VM about his Pace STB for the same reasons that you quote and they changed it without a bother. He now has a nice new Samsung V Box which is far superior.Comment

yes, very possible as it has been done on cable in Ireland
you would need to have the flash dumped from the box to get details and depending on the box and the pairing method used it will determine how difficult it is to do
unfortunately some of the newer boxes will be more difficult but not impossible as the methods involved are not public and prob wont be until the traders and box sellers make lots of ????? thats what its all about im afraid
there are now some peeps here in Irl who can dump the boxes and are making good progress on thisComment

Look on the sat scene m8 people had to do the same to get there info for sharing a polsat cards they had to get the rsa and bk out of receiver and add the info to the cam they was using but think it was oscam but not to sure
i'll have a look n see what i can find but think you'll have to jtag pace box for rsa info just depends on which rsa pairing it's using if any not all boxes and cards will be pair with rsa and bk as not enough memoryComment
