dreambox ...

been trying to fix a friends dreambox .. cant seem to ftp to the box.. so i used dreamup to which i was successful... my only problem is now i need to input the MAGIC files .. can any one help me with this .. cant connect with flash fxp for some reason... so can i use dreamup to input the magic files..??

no cant use dreamup. reflash it with dk_ image ,keys in that all ready to go.

Is the enthernet port flashing on the rear of the box
If so FTP should be available
If not FTP and Telnet are out and a backup.img
Will need to be transferd via dreamup

thanks paul.. no lights at the back .. so will need to use dreamup ... what version software will i use? and will the have the magic files on it so skiii spurts will work ?
