DM500 dm 500c help

can anyone help me here.what it is ,is this .i bought a dreambox 500 c and it has pli installed as the image so my functions are different from the 1ns on here .i bought it from my local comp shop and it was on it already ,now i cant do a bruteforce transponder scan as its not in the list of network scans ,do i need to delete the image and all the magic files with it ?any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated ...

Try a manual scan on pli-image first.
Enter sym. rate 6887 or 6952
Enter any valid transponder freq. for your area.
lock & sync boxes will be ticked if freq. is valid.
Tick network & start scan.
If no result try other sym. rate & scan again.
If your not happy flash with DK 1.1 image & FTP magic files to
var/keys & var/scce folders.

Look in DOWNLOADS--DREAM--GUIDES
There's a full list of UK providers there.
You need to enter SYM. RATE, & any valid TRANSPONDER FREQ
on MAN-SCAN page on PLI-JADE image.
Tick INV box & NETWORK box.
If sym rate & freq are correct LOCK & SYNC will auto-tick &
signal will show 90%+.
Hit GREEN to start scan.
