if your wanting to view channels on the sky satellite when you open transponder edit you will see the satellites on the left and the frequencies on the right (on your box 13 east will be highlighted in red ) press the down arrow button untill you see astra/eurobird 28.2 east highlighted in red.now press the right arrow button on your remote and the first frequency will be highlighted in red and at the bottom you will see add highlighted in red (now follow the instructions i posted above from where it says now click on this link)hope that helps mate.

Hi Mate , not been around for a few days (on lates) , i'm taking your help on board (slowly !) , tonight i i put darkstar 2 on my 2nd box as i liked the image , but using the older version of flash fxp , that worked great on my 1st one , but yet again , i can't get it to connect .
i know it must be something stupid i've done , but can't see where . so i'm having an hour off and cracking a few cans ! thanks very much to you and all again !!

i would think the problem is that box one has a different ip address to box two so when trying to connect to box two you need box two ip address. on box two press menu ,press number 6 (setup) ,then choose expert setup,then choose communication setup (here you will see box two ip address) then put that in to fashxp or i would put that into dream control center as it is the application designed for that box.

Thanks for that Mate , but i'd checked to make sure there was no ip conflict and even tried 2 versions of fxp , the later one failed , then the older version you recommended , that worked on my other box also failed . .
Got home from work tonight , powered the dreambox up , then just for the hell , tried fxp evaluation version and it worked 1st time !!!.
i've give up watching telly now, as the hours fly by when you're fiddling with your dreambox !! , you never know , one day i might even learn how the buggers work !
Now , , back to your earlier post after tea , to try and scan more frequencies .
