Will the dreambox work in Ireland?

Just wondering is there a dreambox I can get and hook it to my chorus would it work and would I have the channels?

Mate of mine got a starview box but on other forums they said the channels will soon go due to Nagra.

as i said they are changing the irish network over and some areas that used a dvb/t box are now on dvb/c=nagra3,your choice if you buy any box as you wont know how long it will last,week,month 6 months.once the cards hit your area time runs out.

2 providers in irl,n*l now on nagra3
and c****s on mmds starting to change
c****S also changing to nagra3
so everybody will have a blank screen soon.

plenty of boxes for sale from suppliers,no hurry they have loads to sell,research the first thing you do before you buy.

Ok another example for you you say no box will work at all? I'm in Athlone by the way. My uncle told me he has a dreambox doing cardsharing will that be affected by Nagra3?

yes it will work, thats a different ballgame altogether.....google will tell you everything you need to know about it

I've honestly looked it up but still can't really understand it to be think you hook your internet to linux box or something.

Would you know a site that explains it fairly easy?

his box is probably a dm500s for working with a sat dish.and other stuff.
