Games on dm500

Hello

I was just wondering could you change or download any new games to box. As I have just brought this one and like to play the odd game every now and then. If you can change them please let me know how.

If you have the game files, copy them to /var/tuxbox/plugins and they should show up in the games menu.

If you're using the DK image, you can download now games using the addons menu if your box is connected to the internet.

Sorry for the late reply I have been away from the PC. I dont know which firmware is on the box as this was already pre-loaded. This is all new to me and I am finding out more by going through this great site which is a god send.
Thanks Devilfish I suppose the only way to learn is by jumping in the deep end and having a mess about with it.

Is there anyway of changing the channel number sequence to put with VM. This would be really helpful as I never know where all the channels are.

You can add blank channels using a program called DreamboxEdit (in download section).

But you will probably get used to the way the bouquets are in time and find they are easier when you get used to them.

Thanks Devilfish you've been a great help. I will most likely go with the bouquets option as its a pain in the back side trying to remember what channels you have . I suppose you will be hearing from me again when another problem appears haha.
