Adding channels........Setanta 1 how do I do it?

    DM500 Adding channels........Setanta 1 how do I do it?

    First time I have seen a dreambox let alone flashed one, but with a little help I've managed to do it.

    Flashed a dreambox 500c with the Kaos 1.1 image. Added keys and all is well, except I have Setanta 1 missing.

    That's the only channel I've noticed so far that's missing. Not really checked for any others.

    I was hoping to be able to add the Sky Sports extra interactive screens. Champions League football is shown on all the sky Sports channels but some games are shown on extra, screen 2,screen 5 etc, which you have to choose through the red button, interactive. I know this can be done with the BBCi channels, wondered if it's possible with SSxtra.

    If I can add Setanta manually could somone give me step by step info on how to do it. Is it as simple as it is with Sky, adding extra channels?


    Celtic play tomorrow and I'm not sure if it's on the main extra screen or choice. Also need Setanta for Sunday's game

      You cant get sky interactive its impossible through cable.

          I would suggest scanning at a different time, it may come back then.

          You can do a manual scan on the transponder to see if it comes back. If you are ex-tw glasgow (lanarkshire) then do a manual scan using the settings in the pic and it will hopefully come in.

              I'm in Gwent, Wales. Obviously I just change the frequency and symbol rate from those in the picture?

              @bugaloo41, thanks m8. Think I'm gonna invest in a booster like you said. Best option I think.

                      I'm in glasgow too and recently had to set up my channels on starview 2 box, lost setanta 1
