DM500 Transponder only scans from Freq 166Mhz

Transponder only scans from Freq 166Mhz, looking to scan 155Mhz for missing channels. Any suggestions apart from a booster already tried that.
    Channels went Awol last week....

(Altered the service file to accommodate the missing channels. Still no joy)

Add the frequency to the cables.xml file then do a scan.

Thanks very much Fergal for the rapid response.

Added the freq 155Mhz into the cable.xml file, still not getting the missing channels.

Noticed when I did a Bruteforce scan that the transponder started at Freq 179Mhz...

After adding it you have to reboot the box for the changes to take effect.

check cables.xml - are trhe changes still there?

from whay i remember, when u changed cables.xml - you had to pull the power as a reboot would restore the original.

No success Flashed the dk 1.1 and tried again with the above instructions. Still starting the transponder scan from Freq 166 MHz. Not picking up the 6 missing channels on Freq 155Mhz SR6887.

                Thanks anyway...........

Hi Fergal followed the instructions. Still no missing channels picked up.
Noticed that this time with your cable.xml the transponder started at freq 250MHz and not Freq 166MHz. don?t know if this helps?

My gut feeling is that it must be the Dreambox software and hardware.
400 meters from my location my friend has a EuroVox and after one Power Scan has all channels even the ones I'm missing.

So here is some food for thought....

Thanks a lot for taking the time to try and resolve this issue.

                          Cheer mate..

You forgot to mention what channels you are missing
can you also upload your cables.xml for me to look at.
