dm500c problems

hi guys i need your help. im trying to fix a mates dm500c which has dk1.1 on it. ive done a scan on the single feed and it wont give me all the channels, so i keep on scanning and now its saying fatal error cant create services file. its the same feed that ive used for a few different boxs and its strong enough. so now i try to flash a new image on and the box starts to flash for about 20 seconds and then stops and says user has aborted when i havent. also i have just tried to download the keys/roms from a link and it says i havnt the privalages. can anybody help?, i have flashed about a dozen dm500c/s boxs for mates and so on also i have a dbox2 and i know how to flash, use dream-up and dcc to ftp and so on but i am baffled. has anybody any idea,s? regards mdt

Have you tried doing a 'flash erase' using dreamup first before flashing new image?
Sorted mine out before this way, blue panel was dead before doing flash erase!
Def worth a try.

not worked mate its just said."aborted by user,exit?" after 20 seconds

Well if dreamup is comming a cropper, thinking its one for the bin!! Sorry I can't be of more help!

ive managed to fix it. the copy of dream up was faulty as i downloaded another version from the dmm site and it flashed second time around and is working fine, thanks for your efforts pal. regards mdt

Never heard of dreamup corrupted before, different versions not connecting maybe, nice find!
