DM500 Dreambox in Swords Ireland

Hello

Just wondering has anyone in Dublin managed to get their Dreambox 500C working....I have tried numerous flashes but still getting nowhere....any help would be great

Is it not now N3 and there fore will never work again. Get a 500-s and read up on how to use cccam on it.

I was thinking that it was a no go due to the N3. Will the 500s work on Cable? Whats the cccam?

the 500s is a satellite box thats what the s stands for ,the c on the 500c stands for cable . and the t on the 500t is terrestrial (for mmds) their is no image that will open the nagra 3 channels (and all cable in ireland has gone nagra3 ,with the exception of some mmds areas ) i wouldnt bin the dm500c as that may have a use in the coming months (i cant mention here what it is as its a topic thats not allowed but it would work in much the same way as the 500s does on satellite).

Thanks for that...yea I am aware of the different boxes as I had the 500c working for a long time but obviously went when the N3 kicked in....I hope it will be of some use down the line...must keep an eye out for things or if someone could pm me it would be great.
