    how can i play movies on pc via dreambox on tv

    i a have a new pc and was previously watching movies via vga on my tv thru laptop.
    The connection lead is 15 pin and my new pc is 9 pin. I got adaptor and does not work. does anyone know how to do through dreambox.i just connected db via browser and discovered its playing on my pc but i want to do it opposite so i can watch downloads and pc stuff thanks

      dreambox on pc

      there was a prog for the dbox11 where you could use the home
      wireless network and view on pc or laptop tried it about a year ago could not get the sound to work maybe worth a try now
      only problem is I cannot remember name of prog .It would let you change channels and power off box from pc.just google it maybe there is a updated version with fixes I tried it only to test it and it did work could not get sound work maybe my sound card was not compatible with sw.hope this helps

          i can view the tv channells on the pc but i want it the other way round, is that what you mean

                  The dreambox doesn't have the power to decode videos all you can do is stream raw video decoded on the PC.

                  You install a VNC server on the PC and a VNC viewer plugin on the Dreambox.
