    500C Bad Flash Problem

Hi guys, I am so impressed with the 500C I bought another 2 for my bedroom and the kids bedroom. I managed to flash one box no problem, copied the keys and other files over and had it up and running in about 20 - 30 mins.

The other box was not so easy, I set the flash away left the room for 2 mins and when I came back it had failed halfway through copying the image over. So I turned the the box off and restarted the PC and tried the flash again, this time it loads the boot loader but gets no responce from the box when waiting for acknowledgement.

I have tried leaving everything including the PC off for 10-15mins before tring again but with no luck. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it now a brick?

I am using dream up version 1.3.2.1
and tring to upload dk v1.1

    Thanks

        THE TRUTH
        The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

I tried quickly switching the box off and on during the waiting for acknowledgement message but unfortunately that did not seem to work. Strangely the box boots to the original enigma setup fine so the box seems to be working fine it just wont flash. Anyone got any suggestions what I can try next?

All the info is in the red stickies http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ox-dreamup-33/

Use a null modem cable and a program called dreamup.

It has to be a null cable.

All sorted. I did a telnet flash instead of using dreamup and it worked like a charm. My null cable must be broken. Thanks to Devilfish for this tutorial guide-flash-backup-image-via-telnet.

now use the guide to back up the image and save on pc
then you have a working image you can flash if needed
