No dish need help

I have got a virgin media coaxial cable but i havent got a dish and the channels are working fine the FTA channels if i get a dreambox 500c will it work and pick up signal because i dont have a dish it goes threw a box on wall plz help thanks

Yes its fine, cable doesn't need a dish. You only need a dish for satellite.

Cable tv is physically connected underground whilst satellites are done via transponding signals. Satellites are slightly more advanced in comparison to cable. The only way cable can be watched is if there is a physical connection.
