dreambox 7025 not clearing

would i just do that on the box and how would i get them into my new image

use the plugin to backup settingsfrom say gemini3.50 to internal hdd,ubs or cf
when you flash a new image say gemini 3.70 you can restore them
in the plugin backup etc/enigma2 which is your channels bouquets timer etc

try that out as well

just to update ive tried gemini 3.7 watched all last night works fine with evocam 2.17 and mgcam 1.30 managed to install saved boquets and installed picons no hassle first go

why didnt it work like that the first time?

so thanks a lot fellas i think now i have such a vast array of dreambox knowledge i may open my own forum

@thered - did you use the 2.17 file I posted on your other thread or a "standard" one? Sorry I missed your questions about jade - incase you didn't find out there is no manual install version that I have found but they have a download server which has cams/emus and the like.

no mate i used the one off this thread from zaf works fine

i tried the jade and backed up my working images to cf card through barry alllan but i could not get barry allan installed through jade for my working images on cf so had to get rid

ive since found out i can install through telnet so il give it a go i cant install directly at the minute as i have no router so everything is done manually through ftp

but il give it a go when i have some more time i fancy using a good 1/2 dozen images on cf card eventually so i can boot up from whichever one i want

I put Gemini 3.7 on my 7025 and just downloaded the latest evocamd from the Gemini server, added the required files to scce and keys and it cleared no problem
