I lost all my encrypted channels on my dm500-c 20 days ago. I am in glasgow. you seem to be closest to me in this forum. do you have any solution for this problem. ta

Try flashing the image again.

Nagra 3 encryption is in the process of being intorduced all over scotland. I cannot say if glasgow has went down or not.

a friend who back to italy gave me the box.
therefore I don't have any updated image.

I back the 31st of march from 3 weeks holiday and could not find any channels I used to have.
"switch SERVICE COULD NOT BE FOUND" on all channels.

I flashed also a wrong image for Singapore
now I flashed an old image V1.1 dated 20/6/2008
but I cannot see any encrypted channels.

do you have any image? ta

Hi guys. Sorry to have wasted any bodies time, but the problem is mine is a sat box, and not a c box! Thanks for all your help anyway, and at least i have everything for when i buy a c box, unless anybody knows of anyone wanting to do a swap.

in the free file sharing into the dreambox folder I can see that the latest image is from 12-08-2008 (probably too old)

in the dreamboxtool.com I see a very recent merlin excalibur image for dm500hd. is it valid for my glasgow dm500-c?

no mate the dreambox tool link is more for satellite dreamboxes like the dm500s (the s being satellite) on a dm500t (the t is for terrestrial ) and on a dm500c (the c is for cable) the 4 shared link is more for cable boxes .that image may work as long as your area is not changed over to nagra3 if it is then no image will work ,if its newer tan the image you have give it a go (its free so worth a try ) remember to reboot your box once its flashed and set up and then go to sky1 or sky sports 1 and see will it update . if your area is not nagra 3 but the box wont auto update you could try manually inputing the codes via your remote ,but i cant help you with the codes mate you have to source them yourself (forum rules ) best of luck .
