tar.gz???? plugin

I have found an interesting football live scores and leagues plugin.

when i ftp it to /temp on my dreambox my DW2.1 image does not recognise it, so I then change the file name to tar.bz2 and whalla it recognises it when i go to manual install it is there but when i execute (try to install) it just dissapears, as far as i know this is made for a gemini image on a 500s.

1. is it possible to unrar the file and just add the files to the VAR folder on the dreambox or is this totally unusable.

2. also there is a nemisis version available so i have downloaded it the file extension for this is just .tbz2 when i unrar both this one and the above one i get a var folder so surely i should just be able to transfer these folders to my dreambox VAR folder ??????????????????

any help would be appreciated!!!

Just extract it using winrar and copy the /var folder to your desktop.

Put the files onto your dreambox in same location as they appear in the /var folder - does that make sense?

The gemini images use different scripts to the DW images so it might not know what to do with it.

If there's a .so file, make sure you chmod 755 that file too.

Restart enigma after copying the files and it should be in the plugins menu.

sounds like a good idea ,a good plugin to me if it works, i would be very interested in a live scores on my dreambox.
