DM500 Flashing error has killed my box. HELP

Hi guys, I have a dreambox 500c and i connected it using a null modem cable. I unplugged all other wires and opened up dreamup and clicked connect.

It found my box ok and so i pointed it to the to dkv1.1 image that i got from digital kaos and clicked flash. It asked me did i want to flash erase so i clicked yes. It then began to flash. However after two minutes it displayed an error and had to abort.

Now when i connect my dm500 to the tv i get a purple screen and the box wont respond (cant even put it on standby).

The real problem is now when i connect it to dreamup to attempt another flash it cant even find my box and all other buttons are grayed out. How do i fix this?

Use a different version of dreamup. This error after a few minutes of loading is caused by certain versions of dreamup.

I prefer the older versions of dreamup.

Try clicking no to flash erase.
            Or download the image again.

Thanks for your help m8 but got it sorted there. I used dreambox edit to restore the settings. Now i have the menus back but still cant connect to any free to air channels. I get all known transponders have been tried but no lock was possible etc.

Do you know how i fix this problem??
