    DM800 Faulty Tuner? Thoughts please...

    Hi folks.

    So, my new DM800C experience isn't going according to plan.

    My main issue is that I can't seem to pick up any channels when scanning. I have a dbox2 and a dm500c and have had no issues in scanning for years with these, but i just can't pick anything up on the DM800C using the same feed (not a split feed, a true feed from the source).

    I have varied the scanning across two Gemini 4.5 variants and one Nabilosat v12 patched image. I have a sim 2.1 cloned box using BL72. Through the course of my experimentation i've been through the usual no ca found issue and brought this box back.

    My first question is this: Before scanning and picking up channels, should the time (the clock) not auto update regardless given that the feed is being fed into the box. My time is the default 1/1/2000 01:00 and counting...

    When i go into the service info menu option i get the following:

    name : n/a
    Provider : <blank>
    Videoformat: 16:9
    ?Namespace: <blank>
    Service Reference: N/A
    Cosing Systems: None

    Question: Can anyone confirm that this is normal? Looks rubbish to me.

    My Tuner is Philips CU1216Mk3 (DVB-C) and it is enabled.

    When i select the Tuner info option in settings, i'm given a green screen (of death?).

    Question: Has anyone experienced that?

    When i finally do scan for channels, i am using the following either through my cables.xml, or manually scanning:

    I am in the Edinburgh area.
    Freq = 619000
    Inversion = Auto
    Symbol Rate = 6952
    Modulation = 64-QAM
    FEC = Auto
    Netowrk = Yes
    Clear before scan = yes or no, i ain't got nothing to clear!
    Only free = no

    I have used a bredth of cams, evocamd, mgcam, ccam 2.0.11 all to no avail.

    I have transferred the keys to /usr/keys/
    I have transferred my dm500c services and bouquets to /etc/enigma2/ or /etc/tuxbox/config/enigma depending on my image.
    I have transferred the nagrarom/ram files to /usr/scce/

    I am totally at a loss to explain why it will not pick up channels. I get 0% complete and 0 services found, then 100% complete, 0 services found really quickly.

    Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome

    Cheers.

    I have transferred my dm500c services and bouquets to /etc/enigma2/ or

    if you transfered your service they need to be enigma 2 type
    dm500 uses enigma1 dm800 uses enigma2

    you can convert the services and bouquets by using bouquet wizzard
