hi there just followed new guide but still geting no where.
as far as i can see everything is fine
i have transferred files via dreambox forever but still free channells
what is the auto key fix and where can i reset it

The steps in the guide work, I can only go over it again and make sure you've put the files in the correct places.

The contents of the keys folder goes in /var/keys
The contents of the scce folder goes in /var/scce

Delete any files that are in those folder before copying the files across.

After copying the files, flick to sky sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now.

When it reboots, it should say 'Starting Evocamd_2.12...' then go to sky sports 1. Leave it there for 5 mins and hopefully the channel will come on.

there was no mention of putting keys in scce file i have put them in the var file as there was in one key file
oh bugger will i have to delete them again

You are mixing up fixes for different things. That thread was to fix the auto updating problem. Prior to that you already had the .bin files in /var/scce so there was no need to explain that these files needed to go in there.

If you are using a Digital Kaos image (or any image for that fact), the instructions are on the 1st page of the feedback thread.
