Scanning for TV Channels what is the best cables.xml

    Hi,

I am in the South west area and my cables.xml currently pics up most channels but has a lot of crap test channels which every time I delete they come back, which is really annoying!

I was wondering if anybody has found a real good cables.xml for the southwest area with all the channels at good quality, and if there's a way to get rid of the crap??

    Thanks!!!!

Your box sounds like it is working fine. If you have no missing channels then your cables.xml seems fine too. I'm pretty sure it is only used during "automatic" scan.

These test channels are must be valid channels.

On a dreambox running an Enigma firmware derivative there is no way to delete channels and have them stay deleted.

Use a bouquet. Add all the channels you want to view and no-rogue channels will appear in the list.
