New cable.xml

Wouldn't a fix for this issue happening all over the country be to upload some new cable.xml docs with the new frequencies, if mine was working i would happily share mine, but it isn't so im begging others to do so

just think we all need to help each other for the little time we have left to enjoy this, if i do find a way to get my channels back i will upload mine for the gateshead area.

What you mean?

Do a scan and get your channels back.

Factory Reset your box and start again.
I done this when the frequencies changed and its fine now.

yeah iv tried that, i get 0 channels, if i do a bruteforce scan i get about 10 can get em all on the dbox2 but not the dreambox dm800

Ok, after changing the tuner config to frequency steps and lowering the step amount to 1050 its found channels, yey! but they are still blank. help what am i missing? iv installed evocamd and the key and scce folders. what else do i need to do this was working fine up til a couple of weeks ago and doesn't matter what i try i cannot get the channels to work most stay blank apart from bbc1 etc.

Have you received your new card. If so you may have a (cough cough) Nagra 3 infection.

No new card and the dbox2 still working fine on all channels in the same house.

there must be other people who own the dm800 having this problem? noticed on another forum there was a vm scanning fix for dm500 why not one for us 800 owners!!!

Youll get little support for the dm800....i cant even get a cable file for it to scan 6952

try a neutrino image, i switched to neutrino from enigma after st all my channels a month or so ago

I really wanted to try the 14 day epg which is all set up and hassle free but a few of us cant even flash it...i think the file is corrupt
