DM500 Connecting to dbox without a remote

Hi there peeps, long time since i've been here but I know someone somewhere on this forum will have a solution to my problem so here goes it:

I am very poor and live in an area where recieving an anolougue signal is just not happening nor digital set top box so I have to rely on my previously trusty DM500.

My prob is a long time ago i lost the remote control for it and have since been using my pc through a network to control my box.

So anyway 2 weeks ago something really weird happened to my box, it was off and i couldn't get it back on so i reflashed software.

Prob is now i can't scan for channels etc etc because i cannot connect to it via the network.

How do I get round this without having to buy a replacement remote control??

I've tried everyway I can think of up till now.

Thanks to all who tried to help I have now got my dreambox up and running now.

I remembered that a few years ago I made a bakup image via dreamup which I reflashed onto the box and the ip address was set as I have always had it allowing me to reconnect to the box itself.
