DM500 500c freezing

Hello everybody!
New to the forum so please be patient...
I have flashed my 500c with the DK 1.1 and everything works fine apart from the fact that the box keeps freezing, not on individual channels but when I press the Yellow button or the Menu button ( but not always).
I then have to unplug the box from the mains and restart it.
I flashed back the image using dream up several times but it keeps happening.
Any advice please?

When the boots for the first time, do an automatic transponder scan straight away and let it scan in the channels. This will cure it and you will be able to use it.

For uk cable, evocamd_2.12 is the most stable version.

bog1, my next move was to try a different image and see.
Thanks Devilfish: I always do an automatic transponder scan (UK Bruteforce)as soon as the image is loaded, then I ftp the keys and then the problems start.
I noticed that the menu key works okay if I am just watching any channel but, if I press ok and have the channel list on the screen and press menu then the box freezes
