I have a very strange problem with my DM500c so I would kindly ask someone with more experience in DM500c to help me solve this.
The DM500c is used in a Romanian cable network so I hope this is not something particular in that area.
The problem is not so easy to explain so I would try to be as explicite as possible. Also I hope the screenshots to be useful.
When I manual scan the 330MHz frequency I get two kind of services: some named 330 SID 0xXXX and some with real channel name (ex. AXN Crime). The 330 SID 0xXXX are working ok but the other ones are not.
If I scan another frequency 338MHz the services that i obtain are similar with the first scan: some named 338 SID 0xXXX and some named with the real channel name (ex. Hallmark). Also the previous 330 SID 0xXXX channels are not present anymore, only the previous real name channel are present (ex. AXN Crime). Also in this case, the only channels that are working are frequency like named channels 338 SID 0xXXX.
If I reboot the DM500c then there are no working channels so I have to scan again (the service list is not empty, there are all channels but the message Service could not be found ! message is displayed.
In conclusion, the only channels that are working are the channels from the last scaned frequency. If I use Automatic Transponder scan there are about 100 services in the list but only the ones from the last frequency (named 458 SID 0xXXX) are working.
