Download an image rename it root.cramfs

FTP it into the temp folder on the box. Then in the settings go to manual flash image and you will see the image there. Flash from there and when its complete your box will reboot if not reboot manually and your new image will appear.

Although the Null modem way is a lot easier.

I find this image very good and stable.

Although each to there own. Some people like PLI and Gemini images.

Not all of them. There are clone safe images from gemini.

4.2 is safe, I think anything after that is not safe on 500's!
                Whatever!!

As i said on the threads header, i jtagged my dm500s it is working again and i put the nabilo enigma on it but i have started to notice that it is intermitentaly flashing sometimes its lasts longer than others, it just looks like the flashing i have got when the clone bomb destroyed the box. The only differance is the flashing is not on all the time and i dont see the message adios amigos aswell. Can you please help me and if you can tell me what i can do.

Also can anyone move this to Sat Dreambox section please

Sounds as if the power supply is on the way out - try a different one!
