FTP Acess Denied (var_init only?)

Hi have just installed the DK1.1 image on the deambox, and all seemed to go well, up until I was putting the Keys in the "var_init/keys" folder via FTP (CuteFTP), when I try this, I get an error access denied!, you do not have permission. I have tried changing the Permissions manually - with no luck, but to be honest the permissions look ok, and are no different to any of the other folder, to which I can access and add file to no problem.

As a test I successfully added the keys to the "var/keys" folder without issue.

Any one got any ideas, or came across this?

Var_Init is directory in the Rom. This is read only.

All the other var directorys are setup on a read/write basis when you flash the box.

This File cannot be changed.

Why you trying to put the keys in that file anyway?

One of guides suggestes thats ware they should go. I thought it a bit strange as i seen in Telnet guide that that area was ROM and of course, not accessable.

var_init is like the autoexce.bat on a pc. You want to copy your keys to var/keys.
