DM500 No service searching option on dreambox 500c

Hi Guys

Hope someone here will be able to help went out earlier and when I came back dreambox 500c was up the wall, all the channels had disappeared, when I went to do a scan the service searching option had completely gone and am now stuck, I am using dk image 1.1 and all was fine earlier.

Service searching is gone? Should be there no problem.

If you got the box insatlled from someone they may have removed this feature from the box.

Its a bit drastic, but it may be worth installing a new image

I think V****n med*a have recently changes the encoding or something. I not get a lot of SK* channels that say "Service could not be found!"
I am running a 500-C Digital-Kaos image v1.1 20.08.2008

For dreambox??.. there is no latest image "for virgin"

Use whatever image you like and what suits you box.. then get and ftp the magic files which is all explained in the RED stickies above
